As stated in the Introduction, the Kalabari
Language is one spoken, predominantly, by a kingdom of People called "Kalabari"
or "Kengema Kalabari". It is one of the Eastern Ijo (Ijaw) dialects or languages spoken in the Niger Delta Region of Southern
Nigeria, specifically Rivers State; the other languages in its group are:
(a) Okirika
(b) Ibani
(c ) Nkoro
